Reporting: Reporting directly to Head of R&D at Broen Oil and Gas

Job Summary:
Responsibility:
• Management of new and on-going R&D projects such as new valve design, optimization of existing designs, introduction of new sealing technology, etc.
Key Accountabilities:
• Develop and manage valve designs, calculations and drawings , new valve designs.
• Supporting the Head of R&D in planning the complete R&D project portfolio.
• Planning, preparation and coordination of technical documentation.
• Close cooperation with production, technology, sales, customer service in case of technical inquiries.
• Support and supervision to technology department in cases of customer modifications of existing designs.
• Coordination and collaboration with R&D departments in other divisions in the BROEN Group.
• Implementation and management of tools and processes to support the development of the business.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education: Master of Science or equivalent title.
Language: Fluent in English, native or fluent Polish is desired but not a requirement.
Experience:
• Several years of experience in product development of valves for the oil & gas industry
• Expertise in following topics is very desired, but not specifically a requirement:
o A: Knowledge of designing large dimensioned high pressure equipment.
o B: Experience and knowledge of specific norms and standards for the industry (e.g. ASME, API, NACE, ISO-EN, PED, etc.).
o C: Knowledge in the area of material science (high pressure, high and low temperature environments, etc.).
• Project management experience from similar position and ability to work in high pace environments.
