Role and responsibilities:
This person will coach the colleagues in how best to solve engineering problems. The challenges he/she will face include software specification, developing, maintaining and testing software for our network management product. As part of these roles he/she will use modern agile and iterative development processes and object oriented design methods, Java programming language in Linux environment.
Required skills:
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology
• Excellent knowledge of Java, J2EE (SOA, EJB2.0/3.0, Web Services, JSF), XML, GUI principles and in Object Oriented software design paradigms
• Familiarity with the UNIX/Linux operating system
• Knowledge of telecom (e.g. GSM/EDGE & WCDMA) and IP systems and databases (Oracle preferred) will be seen as major plus
• Communication and team working skills
• Fluency in English
