Duties
-Sr. Subsea controls & Umbilical Engineer provides Subsea Control engineering support and performs Subsea Control Engineering / design tasks on Protective Structure Manifold (PSM) and both under water subsea Components (SCM, SDU, various Hydraulic valves Actuators) & topsides components (TUTU, HPU).
-Develop and co-ordinate subsea designs and deliverables for subsea controls and umbilical system associated with conceptual and front end engineering studies;
-Prepare the technical specification for subsea controls and umbilical systems and perform technical evaluations of tender bids;
-Manage the technical interfaces and co-ordinate the detail work of the suppliers with the project team;
-General support to the Project Manager on technical issues resulting in the timely delivery and execution of the project.
Requirements / Qualifications
-Educated to degree level or higher in a related engineering subject;
-Professional Engineer or equivalent status.
-Has had significant involvement in a similar role with at least 2/3 subsea execution projects (equivalent to over 5 years industry experience).
-Experience with conceptual, FEED and detailed design of subsea controls and umbilical systems.
-Working knowledge of industry standards related in subsea control and umbilical systems, e.g. API 17A and ISO 13628 series.
-Extensive experience with detailed design of various types of subsea controls and umbilical system configurations including software, subsea communication methods, electrical and hydraulic distribution systems, and all forms of testing both onshore and offshore
-Experience with equipment delivery and installation methods for subsea control systems and umbilical, particularly steel tube umbilical and jumpers;
-Familiar with the constraints on topsides equipment and associated interfaces for subsea tie-ins and interfaces for down hole equipment, Xmas Trees and general equipment installation self starter ability to work with self motivation and confidence.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
We look for someone who has occupied an equivalent position, working on large size projects.
STUDIES
University graduation technological and science discipline.
LANGUAGE
English commercial level is mandatory

PETROCONSULT furnizeaza si Servicii de Training pentru operare si mentenanta pentru aceasta rafinarie, lucrarile fiind in curs.
Compania a participat si participa la proiecte in domeniul industriei de petrol si gaze, in strainatate, in peste 25 de tari.
