RESPONSABILITATI

- Call logging, filtering, monitoring and escalation, ensuring calls are logged, categorised and assigned appropriately with call resolution being recorded in HD software or equivalent. Follows-up with users to ensure problems have been resolved
- Ensure that all requests for changes to user access permissions are completed as per SOX requirements.
- Liaising directly with the end users and local management for guidance on call prioritisation and escalation in accordance with written SLA’s
- Performs the first level of problem determination with the objective of resolving as many problems as possible utilising the HD software or equivalent.
- Answers questions regarding installations, setups, error messages, status, system procedures, on-line transactions, system status, and downtime.
- Relay messages sent to or received from users in a timely manner.
- Provides first level of support for business system related queries with escalation to EMEA IT Helpdesk or external 3rd party support as appropriate
- Provides support for in house developed management reporting using standard tools for deployment to user desktop
- Install and configure Server, PC and LT software products, configure standard hardware and software configurations for PC and LT builds, troubleshoot and maintain Server, PC and LT hardware and software.
- Ensures proper documentation is created/maintained (SOX), maintains hardware/software inventory system within HDS.
- Monitors, reviews IT stock levels and advises on purchasing requirements, seeks purchase approval via standard authorisation procedures for all required items, reviews hardware/software standards
- Provides consultation on general technical issues and possible solutions to user base


CERINTE

- Advanced level of Windows XP, Win2000 Client operating systems knowledge
- Securing Windows 2K/XP computers (security updates, account management);
- Experience with MS Exchange, MS ISA, Terminal server applications on client side
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiar with network (LAN, WAN, TCP-IP, Wireless) technologies, monitoring/optimization
- At least 2 years of support experience
- Good at personal relationships and organization skills
- Problem solving oriented
- Ability o communicate technical information to non-technical clients.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
