-Responsible for the provision of accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with US reporting requirements.
-To be the local expert and point of contact for Hyperion reporting including Essbase and smartview. Develop and improve reporting processes and procedures, including working with the US to ensure changes to monthly reporting requirements are implemented in Romania. Work with the controller and region office to improve accuracy and efficiency in monthly processes, resolve system issues and comply with US policies.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Essential:
-Qualified Accountant.
-Trained and experienced in US GAAP accounting and reporting.
-Qualified and experienced in Romanian accounting
-Experienced in monthly management reporting.
-Fluent in English language, written and spoken.
Preferred:
-Knowledge/experience of operations.
-Knowledge/experience of Sarbanes Oxley and other SEC requirements.
EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Essential:
-Experience in using JDE/SAP and/or Hyperion or similar systems.
-High level knowledge and practise of Excel.
-Strong communication skills (both written & oral)
-Ability to use initiative, judgement and work with minimum supervision.
-Experience of supervising and motivating a team.
-Strong knowledge and experience in accounting practice and theory
-Experience of working closely with operational and other non-financial personnel.
Preferred:
-Analytical awareness and problem solving skills
-Knowledge of accounting systems, and experience in implementing a new accounting system.
-Interested in business and operational issues related to finance.
