The job holder should:
- Lead the HW Design (CAE) Activities
- Provide Technical Leadership and Training for the HW Engineering Team
- Create, Edit and Update Electrical Drawings by using ePLAN P8
- Preparation of Electrical Drawings will include:
- Single line diagrams
- Network diagram
- Detailed diagrams
- Terminal list
- Component list
- Cable list
- Panels and control desks mechanical layout
- Be aware about all the technical information delivered during pre-sales and proposal stage
- Cooperate with the HW Lead Engineers for preparation of detailed BOM that will be used for purchase and/or manufacture all the deliverables
- Prepares the HW related documentation as per quality management system and contractual obligations
- Interact with SW development department for proper design of PLC and SCADA HW architecture. Comments or modifications requests from SW department must be taken in consideration
- Design systems according with the applicable standards and regulations
- Provide value added engineering solutions to meet technical specification requirements and customer’s expectations
- Actively contribute to standardization process by designing and maintaining ePLAN Macros
- Actively contribute to standardization process by designing and maintaining Pre Engineered HW solutions
- Prepare and maintain proper documentation to promote and facilitate the utilization of above mentioned Macros and Pre Engineered HW solutions.
- Contribute to the components standardization process to reduce and optimize engineering workload, facilitate procurement and panel building activities in Oradea
- Maintains effective communication with ePLAN staying updated with latest product updates and releases
- Leverage advanced functionalities available in ePLAN to improve efficiency and quality of design and engineering activities
Maintains effective communication and working relationships with other project team and technical department members
Education and Qualifications
- Automation/Electrical/Electronic University Degree
- MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Eplan P8
Experience
- Knowledge of Computer Aided Engineering systems is essential
- Technical background in automation and drive systems
- Min. 2 years in Low Voltage Switchgear HW design
- Knowledge of Low Voltage Standards i.e (EN 60204)
