We have an immediate need for a young Windows Administrator willing to learn
and to work in a team, with basic knowledge of Linux, network equipment, and databases.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
- Microsoft Office applications
- General understanding of physical network equipment including cabling, patch
panels, switches, and NICs, knowledge of network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls), especially
configuration of Allied Telesis and Cisco equipments
- Understanding of TCP/IP and common network services such as DNS, mail,
Web, DHCP, WINS, proxy server, printer configuration
- Supporting and managing a Microsoft Windows 2003 domain and network
- Good command of English (Italian is a plus)
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Willing to learn, attention to details
- Calm, reliable person
- Basic Knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems
Nice to have:
- Degree in computer engineering
- Good Knowledge of Linux/UNIX systems
- Knowledge of VoIP technology
