- Written & Verbal Communication with Supply Base.
- Supports New Business activities through validation and negotiation of material criteria. This includes Price, Terms and Conditions, Lead time, min. order qty, Payment terms, Inco terms / Dimensions – packaging type, size and weight / Country of shipment origin.
- Supports activities by interacting with the site teams to compile and deliver the price commitment to the customer.
- Consolidates, tabulates, analyzes and reports on various commitment and performance metrics.
- System maintenance (SAP GT).
- New vendor set up including Payment terms negotiation.
- Close cooperation and support of Procurement Cost Ingeneers, Commodity Managers, IPC, Site SCM team in global scale.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Commerce or Engineering), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong systems skills, including common office platforms such as MS Office and Access, along with have strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data.
- Knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures.
- Basic understanding of specific customer needs.
- Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Fluent English written and verbal.
- Experience in a multi-national environment.
- Two to four years relevant experience in industry.
