LABORATORY TECHNICIANS/SENIOR TECHNICIANS
1. BE in Civil

As part of our growth plans in the Middle East, we require a Metallurgy Laboratory Manager to manage a busy metallurgical laboratory in the United Arab Emirates.
The successful candidate should preferably have a degree or equivalent in Metallurgy or Materials Science, plus a working knowledge of track record in the same field and must also have direct knowledge/experience of ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements. He or she should possess excellent operational management skills and be able to demonstrate previous success in a similar environment. Reporting to the General Manager, he or she will be responsible for all operational aspects of running/developing the business and delivering targeted objectives in line with customers¿ needs and expectations. Technical expertise in mechanical testing, chemical analysis and failure investigations are all highly desirable attributes. Coatings testing experience would also be a valuable asset. The successful candidate will be a driven individual with excellent interpersonal skills as effective communication with both clients and colleagues will be extensive. He/she must also be a strong organiser and a team builder and be customer focussed.
