- develop application components for the e-Business applications in accordance with systems development methodology and standards to ensure all goals are met
- develop working code and unit test cases based on functional requirements and technical designs
- liaise with customers at administrative level and provide advice on application issues
- analyse existing systems diagnose problematic areas
- design high level solutions and generate a time/cost estimate for business approval
- appropriate degree or equivalent level tertiary education
- minimum 1 year experience in delivering Java programs
- knowledge of the following technologies; Java, MQ Schema Design; HTML/JavaScript, PHP, C+,C++ or C# and, if possible, .Net
- knowledge of: XML/XMLSpy/XSD/XSL/Spring, Natural Adabas.
- your English language skills must be excellent
- experience in a client service/support environment
- knowledge of production support and associated client service principles
- knowledge of the concepts and components of estimating
