- Welcome when arriving at the airport– Candidate will be met by consultant.
- Drive to accommodation/branch/company– consultant will drive them.
- Ongoing candidate care– visited weekly on site and regular social functions are held.
- In addition Adecco New Zealand will assist in relocation to New Zealand, help in registering with New Zealand formalities, acquiring tax number, opening bank account etc.
Education: must be qualified as carpenter
Experience: at least 5 years documented experience as a carpenter
Language skills: Good working comprehension of English
Working conditions
Contract of employment in accordance with the Individual Employment Agreement in accordance with New Zealand Law. Guaranteed 23 months assignment (including trial period)
Salary: $26.00 (NZD)- gross per hour minimum, $20.56 (NZD) net per hour minimum
Overtime rate (hour): If overtime is applicable then these rates can vary between clients, usually it is paid at time and half.
Minimum of 40 hours per week . Extra hour’s available dependent on client requirements.
4 weeks holiday per year
Accommodation: Accommodation benefit duration is for the first week. Adecco New Zealand will assist in sourcing of accommodation.
Insurance: paid by Adecco New Zealand
Work permit and visa: shared responsibility (candidate and Adecco costs)
Travel to New Zealand: Travel costs to be negotiated with Adecco New Zealand
