Responsible for coordination for riser design to be done by an engineering subcontractor during the FEED design and EPC stage. The design shall be safe operable, maintainable, meet product specification and availability target and be suitable for the specific design life.
Major Duties
-Discuss and determine mooring. riser and umbilical design environmental criteria with client
-Discuss and determine riser process design requirement with client
-Discuss and determine umbilical design requirement with client
-Assist Interface Manager to coordinate interface with the Subsea flow line contractor
-Assist Interface Manager to coordinate between a shipbuilder and mooring equipment supplier
-Assist Interface Manager to coordinate between a riser and umbilical design subcontractor and mooring equipment supplier
-Review mooring design to be carried out by a mooring supplier
-Review riser and umbilical design to be carried out by a subcontractor
-Assist the Construction Manager to determine construction vessel requirements
Nature and Environment at JGC
- JGC's major business market is in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of process plants, including offsite and utility facilities, in such fields as oil refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, and gas processing and treating.
In most projects, engineering activities center in the JGC Yokohama World Operations Center, where engineering groups are organized. JGC also uses its branch offices and subsidiary engineering companies for execution of the project.
