Carry out on his own with the aid of his subordinate staff/s, and with minimum supervision from the Instrument Maintenance Unit Supervisor the following:
-All maintenance procedure for repairs and set-up control of the electronic/instrument equipment and devices.
-Interpret electronic/instrument drawings and logic elements, even of complicated nature and understand the system based on them.
-Diagnose and troubleshoot all electronic/instrumentation fault/failure, anomalies, etc.
-Repair and overhaul electronics cards and instrumentation devices.
-Carry out maintenance works and service power generation, water distribution, and pneumatic system.
-Overhauling and calibration of safety valves, pressure transmitters, converters and other instrument devices.
-Ability to use various types of electronics and instrument testing equipment and devices.
-Suggests to his discipline Unit Supervisor improvement that renders smoothly the maintenance activity progress assigned to him.
Should possess High Diploma combined with vocational course (BSc in Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent).
ii)Not less than 5 years servicing as Senior Electronics Instrument Technician in the oil & gas industry both onshore & offshore to include the following:
-Knowledge of the electronics and instrumentation theory in reading drawings and flow charts.
-Knowledge of measurement instrument.
