PROJECT CONTROL MANAGER

RESPONSABILITATI

Responsible for the co-ordination and management of all Project Controls including finance and accounting, cost control and planning on the FLNG Project including the development and production of detailed plans/schedules for all phases of the project through to successful completion using current planning techniques and tools, ensuring that effective planning and analysis processes are in place and implemented, to support management reporting and decision making.
Major Duties
The principal duties of the Project Control Manager are to,
-Be the focal point for the FLNG project in the coordination and organization of all planning and scheduling systems, programs and training to achieve project strategic plans and objectives.
-Provide leadership, technical direction and hands-on guidance to office planners.
-Assure proficiency in all aspects of planning, scheduling, resource allocation, aggregation and monitoring progress.
-Ensure all Planning, Scheduling and Progress Measurement actions and activities are carried out in keeping with all relative and accepted procedures, specifications and instructions.
-Interface with all disciplines, subcontractors and client representatives at a senior level regarding planning coordination and integration.
-Develop a Logic Network Schedule and implement effective planning and progress measurement process, providing management with recommendations, and the tools, to aid decision making and reporting.
-Interface with other project control functions and project control team leaders to maintain and where possible streamline work processes.
-Participate in the development of the project Work Breakdown Structure.
-Take ownership of project planning and scheduling process, systems and reporting obligations.
-Perform extensive critical path reviews, assessments and mitigations once per month after schedule and progress status updates.
-Manage interface with Cost, Cash flow and Forecasting.
-Analyze probabilities and determine schedule impact of changes.
-Identify the schedule risks and re-baseline, if necessary.
Nature and Environment at JGC
-JGC's major business market is in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of process plants, including offsite and utility facilities, in such fields as oil refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, and gas processing and treating.
In most projects, engineering activities center in the JGC Yokohama World Operations Center, where engineering groups are organized. JGC also uses its branch offices and subsidiary engineering companies for execution of the project.
