Responsible for the interface management for the delivery of FLNG facilities in accordance with the Basis of Design within the Level 3 schedule and resource budgets. The design shall be safe, operable, maintainable, meet product specification and availability targets and be suitable for the specific design life.
Major Duties:
- The principal duties of the Interface Manager are to;
- Manage internal / external interface;
- Interface with the Procurement Group and set target dates;
- Ensure alignment between Procurement and Engineering;
- Ensure alignment between Fabrication / Integration and Engineering;
- Ensure alignment between Construction / Installation and Engineering.
- Facilitate the steps leading to earliest possible Purchase Order placement.
- Prepare periodical internal / external interface management reports;
- Manage the work scope in accordance with corporate guidelines and processes;
- Ensure timely decisions are made and remove uncertainty in the team.
- Maintain a balance between cost reduction initiatives and protection of the schedule.
Nature and Environment at JGC
- JGC's major business market is in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of process plants, including offsite and utility facilities, in such fields as oil refining, petrochemicals, chemicals, and gas processing and treating.
In most projects, engineering activities center in the JGC Yokohama World Operations Center, where engineering groups are organized. JGC also uses its branch offices and subsidiary engineering companies for execution of the project.

- Pro-active, flexible attitude and experience with working in a team
- Understanding of project management skills and practices.
- Technical skills required to analyze problem areas and facilitate resolution.
- Ability to cope with changing tasks and requirements.
- The willingness to take responsibility and make decisions at appropriate times.
- Working experience of more than 20 years in design, engineering management of Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
- Experience in Gas FPSO, LPG FPSO is desirable.
