Carryout his job under the Senior Technician with supervision of the Unit Supervisor the following:
-All maintenance, repairs, calibration and set-up controls of the electrical equipment & devices.
-Can read as reference and source of information in his work electrical drawings.
-Troubleshooting of fault/failure for proper reparation and prevention.
-Overhaul of the electrical motors upto 6KV.
-Overhaul of L.V. & M.V. switchgears & motor control centers.
-Perform the calibration & test of protection devices related to Generators, transformers, motors, etc.
-Should posses certificate from a training school or from secondary school combined with a qualification course.
-Not less than 5 years as Senior Electrical Technician in the Oil and Gas industry both Onshore and Offshore, to include the following:
-Electrical distribution system upto 6KV.
-Electrical switchgear and motor control center systems.
-Electrical equipment such as motors, power systems, protection devices, etc.
-Turbo and Diesel generators.
-Power transformers
-Maintenance, testing and commissioning procedure for the above equipment’s.
-Should well acquainted with international norms related to electrical plants and equipment’s in hazardous locations (CEI, VDE & IEC).
