Role Summary
Web Developers work in a client-facing technical service environment, supporting web-based products . They have expert front end coding knowledge and provide technical support and solutions to clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
Communicates clearly with external clients and campaign managers when providing a technical solution
Provide technical consultations over emails and phone calls with clients or campaign managers
Build one-off LIVE campaigns, and work closely with the onshore QA team
Actively keeping up to date on Rich Media related components
Keep up to date on issues/ETAs
Escalates client or product issues / concerns to client
Provides product improvement feedback
Provides insight into client trends and improvement / training opportunities
Advise clients and campaign managers on how to launch their Rich Media Campaigns
Personal Specification
Required Skills/Competencies/Experience
2+ years of experience with Flash development (not designer) in a coding capacity
Expert knowledge of ActionScript (2 and 3)
Strong knowledge of HTML5, good knowledge of desktop and mobile browsers compatibility specificities is a plus
Exceptional written and verbal skills in the EnglishANDGerman / French / Italian / Spanish
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, and Python
2+ years of experience with Flash development (not designer) in a coding capacity
Demonstrable programming experience in any other object-oriented language preferred
Experience in an ad serving environment a plus
Advanced knowledge of Flash
Experience in quick turnaround support environment
General problem solving, decision making, and attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Technical Skills
Expert knowledge of ActionScript (AS2&AS3), strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, PHP, Python, Mobile environment
Desirable
Prior knowledge of online advertising products / Ad operations
Experience working in online advertising operations, interacting with a publisher or advertiser-facing ad management platform
Education
Bachelor’s degree required: B Tech, BCA, BSc comp, BSc IT, or equivalent practical experience
