- Design complex microcontroller based communication systems (32 bit, WIFI, DDR/SDRAM).
- Schematic entry, PCB prototyping and PCB for manufacturing.
- Interact with hardware architect to came up with best possible hardware design for given specifications.
- Implementing test procedures and acceptance test criteria.
- Interact with production facilities to ensure proper implementation of hardware designs.
Experience:
- At least three years hardware design experience
- PCB design for manufacturing experience (few years experience with at least one CAD tool - OrCAD, Mentor Graphics, etc..)
- Digital and Analog design experience (experience with HDL and top down design would be a plus)
- Design experience with wireless technologies (802.11, Bluetooth, etc...)
- Design experience with large 32 bit controller systems
- Design experience with SDRAM and DDR based systems
Skills:
- Strong computing systems architecture and design
- Strong knowledge of computing systems (architecture, operating systems, networking)
- Good programming knowledge of embedded development tools (mainly C, ASM, etc..)
- Strong knowledge of computing systems (architecture, operating systems, networking)
