Responsibilities:
- Supervising the accounting function, ensuring compliance with Romanian Legislation and corporate policy;
- Ensuring that all bookkeeping activities are completed in time, accurately and according to statutory regulations and internal month-end procedure;
- Coordination of accounting and invoicing function;
- Being directly involved in the Statutory Reporting function, liaising with State Bodies to ensure compliance with latest relevant legislation;
- Improving the accounting department KPI’s( month end within 6 days; submitting returns within 10 days, etc);
- Maintaining and developing the accounting system;
- Preparation and submission of declarations&returns as per statutory rules ;
- Organizing, leading and finalizing year-end inventory count.
Candidate:
- University degree, ideally with focus on Accounting&Finance;
- Relevant experience in a Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant role – minimum 2 years;
- Sound fiscal and accounting knowledge;
- Strong management skills;
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing environment;
- Proficiency in Excel, average English;
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, to work under stressful conditions;
- Optimistic, dynamic, proactive attitude.
