As a concrete example, for one of our client – a Swedish company that offers competitive billing solutions in the area of value added services for international telecom operators and other major public services providers – we are looking for a highly professional Technical Lead / Senior Java Developer .
More concrete, their current application offers visibility for the users, for example allowing them to see every couple of days the costs they have for calls to special numbers. The application is now further developed to offer other useful information towards the clients (ex. a real time monitoring of the costs).
Inside a team of 5 Java Developers with good expertise on J2EE, Spring and Hibernate, your main mission will be to actively participate and supervise the entire process. Overview of your role in Pentalog :
As a Technical Lead / Senior Java Developer, your core responsibilities will be to:
- Strong relational abilities in order to keep close contact with the client and to adjust the output to their needs;
- Maintaining an efficient communication flow between the client and the entire development team;
- Self-confidence and accuracy in presenting both the limits and the advantages of a solution that would answer the client needs;
- Ensuring the delivery of high quality solutions to agreed specifications and within agreed timescales;
- Actively participating in the development process;
- Proactive attitude in identifying soft related problems and suggesting optimization solutions;
- Providing both positive and negative feedback to the team members throughout the entire project;
- Acting as an adviser and mentor for other less experienced team members when necessary;
- Writing documentation and reports for all development work undertaken.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role;
- Strong software development experience in Java;
- Computer science university background or equivalent;
- Languages : JAVA/J2EE, XML, JavaScript;
- Application Servers : Tomcat, Jboss;
- Database : Oracle;
- Development environment : SVN, Eclipse, GWT Designer, Maven;
- Others : Hibernate, Spring, Enterprise Architect;
- JUnit, Web Driver;
- English is a must, French is considered an advantage.

Grupul Pentalog a realizat in 2007 o crestere interna de 67% si o cifra de afaceri de 5,5M?. La inceputul anului 2008, echipa Pentalog numara deja 200 de persoane.
Datorita acestor indicatori pozitivi, preconizam pentru 2008 crearea a numeroase noi posturi in toate agentiile noastre din Romania si Republica Moldova, o crestere de 40% din efectivul actual.
