* As a network and system administrator you will be in charge to remotely operate, maintain and make the company server platform evolve (we've got more than 20 physical servers, each hosting several virtual servers).
* This includes the management of the platform dedicated to XWiki's online hosting business.
* No hardware skills required.
* The ideal candidate will have professional experience in similar positions, has a proven sense of initiative and can handle pressure in his / her daily job.
Requirements for the position:
* Excellent UNIX knowledge, in particular of the Linux Debian distribution
* Very good knowledge of apache httpd configuration and optimization (mod_proxy, mod_proxy_ajp, mod_deflate, cache)
* Experience with bind, postfix, Tomcat and shell scripting
* Experience with mysql administration, including optimization and data replication setups
* Good knowledge of the java programming language
* Experience with virtualization systems (linux vserver, linuxKVM is a plus)
* Good level on English required, French is a plus
One or several competencies in the list below will be considered a plus :
* MS Windows administration
* VPN technologies (IPSec, OpenVPN, racoon)
* cfengine
* administration of subversion repositories
* Nagios
* Scripting languages (perl, python, ...)
* Amavis

The XWiki project offers both a generic platform for developing collaborative applications using the wiki paradigm and products developed on top of it. All XWiki software is developed in Java and under the LGPL open source license.
