Join the Embarcadero JBuilder team as Software Tester to help assuring the quality of the services offered to our Java Developers community.
Software Tester is a challenging position that combines software development and testing methodologies to certify products for release. This position is involved at all software development lifecycle phases of a project. Responsibilities and Activities
-Be responsible for developing, enhancing, running and maintaining tests for JBuilder.
-Learn and build automated tests to ensure high quality products
-Participate in daily scrums and bring your knowledge and creativity in making JBuilder a better IDE
-Write Java code in order to test functionality of the new features of JBuilder.
-Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
-Report bugs and verify fixes
-Contribute to smoke, functional and regression tests
Skills and Experience Required
-University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, FEAA Business Information or related field
-Ability to analyze, write and extend quality Java code
-Good OOP fundamentals understanding,
-Experience with Eclipse is a plus
-Web application using J2EE, JSF, EJB is a plus
-Application development experience in JBuilder a plus
-General knowledge on unit testing and regression testing is a plus
-Good knowledge of windows operating systems
-Good communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills
