Software development engineering is a challenging position that combines software development and testing methodologies to certify products for release. This position is involved at all software development lifecycle phases of a project. Responsibilities and Activities
• Be responsible for running and developing a comprehensive set of database functional tests that exercises RADStudio database technology and features such as DBExpress, DataSnap, and VCL Database controls against many server architectures such as Oracle, MSSQL, Interbase, MySQL and DB2.
• partner with R&D to create, run and maintain a comprehensive set of functional tests
• Learn and build automated tests to ensure high quality products
• Discover and isolate product flaws quickly and effectively
• Use programming and software test engineering tools for functional, performance and stability test development
• Report bugs and verify fixes
• Contribute to smoke, functional and regression tests
• Evaluate and report on latest product quality to team lead and management
• Share knowledge with other team members and train juniors
• Contribute in building a world class automated test environment for testing the RAD Studio product line
Skills and Experience Required
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, FEAA Business Information or related field
• Attracted by programming and technology, strong analytic skills, desire in making development products better
• Experience as software developer or tester
• Strong OOP fundamentals understanding,
• Good coding and understanding of SQL , experience with SQL is a plus
• Can read and understand programming languages and frameworks such as Delphi , C++, .NET
• Ability to analyze and write code in C++ and Delphi
• Application development experience in Delphi or C++ is a plus
• Good communication skills
• Good teamwork skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Good knowledge of windows operating systems
