Adecco Human Resources is looking for its client, a multinational Belgiancompany, the most preferred engineering and solution provider for the floatglass manufacturers, a Site Engineer.
Job description:
You are a trained engineer who will be involved in thefollow-up of several projects within the company.You are supervising an erection team of the customeror subcontractor, assembling and installing several products that are suppliedby the company.You are the focal point of contact to the customerfor company”s on-site installation activities.
The function includes frequent travelling and on-sitepresence for both project execution as well as post project service activities.
A project typically requires on-site presence from 3to 4 months. During this time, you will be abroad for uninterrupted periods between2 and 4 weeks. You will travel around 40% of your time.
When you are not travelling, you will be involved inthe realization of projects in the factory.
Key responsibilities:
Managing the on-site execution of the project from Ato Z
Preparing in depth your on-site presence with theproject team in order to have smooth and efficient on-site project execution
During execution, responsible for the executionon-site in line with the agreed planning.
Leading and performing the cold tests and preparingeverything so that hot tests, commissioning and successfully handover of the installationto the customer can take place.
You are in contact with external and internal partners: customer, suppliers, production, procurement department, shipping, design& engineering.
During your on-site activities, reporting to the projectresponsible.
During your stay in the factory, reporting to thedepartment head.
Experience within an industrial environment
You are an engineer with good general knowledge ofmachines, welded mechanical constructions with moving parts and/or processinstallations
You are an engineer with experience in a technical,project related environment or within the production or maintenance of complexmachines
You have preferably experience in an environmentwhere you have been confronted with a broad range of technologies
You are able to read, understand and comment ontechnical drawings
You ideally have done on-site work for longerperiods of time
You are computer literate
Knowledge of a 3D package (e.g. Solidworks, Inventoror Pro-Engineer) is considered as a plus
Knowledge of e-plan is considered as a plus
Customer oriented and professional attitude
Well-organized, stress-resistant and resultsoriented
Knowledge of Romanian and English is required
