RESPONSABILITATI

Provide subject matter expertise in implementation and configuration of the MPS suite with specific focus on Xerox Services Manager (XSM) for all Operation Centers (OPCO) supported
Create new client/customer configuration within the XSM application in line with the signed contract and pre-established guidelines
Work with the business unit to align processes and customer requirements with system capabilities
Consult and design new client/customer configurations within the application in line with the signed contract and pre-established guidelines
Implement system configuration changes where appropriate following changes either rolled out or requested. Where necessary provide alternate solutions/designs
Provide support and guidance to the teams during account implementations and migrations between application versions Provide day to day support and consultancy to operations on supported technologies, responding in a timely manner
Participate in and support all phases of new XSM functionality deployment (quarterly releases)
Participate in security audits of system user profiles (quarterly) including when directed to support potential investigations into security breaches within XSM
Participate in or perform regular audits to ensure everything is in adherence to change management. Review log files and/or use monitoring tools to check XSM configurations. Determine appropriate action in problem situations.
Troubleshoot basic, intermediate, and advanced problems and recommend appropriate actions either to resolve or escalate.
Document and maintain standard application system support processes and procedures
Follow change management procedures to implement approved recommendations
Participate in the analysis and design function for new and existing systems to ensure adherence to technical standards, data standards, security standards, and integration with other applications
Support EPS cross-regional and cross-line of business service offerings
Key activities and initiatives of position:
Consult and assist on an as-needed basis in implementing technology levers for customer accounts
Ability to gather business requirements and then propose and or implement a solution
Assist and lead analysis of escalated EPS technology issues
Participate in the EPS Community of Practice
Participate in Global Operations (GOC) meetings and activities
Full system project management of the XE European new account configuration and implementations
Scheduling and planning of team’s work effort

The role

A Senior Application Administrator supports the EPS European Program Strategy. The individual will aid in the support the Xerox EPS European program strategy Application Suite, as well as other technologies employed by the Xerox Europe which at times may include Fuji Xerox region. The individual is responsible for handling system administrative tasks as well as designing and then implementing solutions. The individual will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job while using experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. The individual will lead and direct the work of others. This may at times require the individual to travel.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Good understanding of Windows and Internet Explorer
Mathematics – Knowledge of basic statistical analysis and algebra

Troubleshooting — Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it

Because this role has involvement with other international members of teams, the Senior Application Administrator should be cognisant of international cultural differences. This will periodically require calls outside of normal business hours, or coordinating calls so that other regions can participate. Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are not required
