- Monitoring of the servers and addressing any issues raised.
- Break fix via the Call Logging ticketing system for these servers.
- Technical Issue escalation and management.
- Day to day proactive server support and maintenance
- Developing and implementing service improvements.
- Supporting Infrastructure Applications i.e. SMS
Person Profile
Experience - Essential
- Graduate calibre with several years of large scale server management experience.
- Windows NT, 2000 and 2003 Server
- Active Directory
- Knowledge of Server monitoring software –BMC, MOM, HP SIM
- Arcserve/ Brightstor Backups troubleshooting experience.
Experience – Desirable
- MCSE NT/2000/2003
- Experience on Compaq and Fujitsu
- Knowledge of scripting language i.e. VB, Jscript or Perl
- SMS2003 knowledge
