For our Engineering Location Timisoara we search for dynamic and motivated people to join our Powertrain Electronics and Drivetrain department.

We were the first supplier to develop a marketable piezo-injection system for diesel engines, offering major benefits in terms of precision and efficiency. This groundbreaking technology is now being applied to gasoline engines, and we are once again up with the frontrunners
We deliver control unit solutions consisting of hardware and software for engines and all contemporary types of transmissions. Automatic or continuously variable, dual clutch, transfer case, or differential drive: whatever the application, we offer control solutions to cover every requirement.
Based on many years of experience in the development and manufacture of electrical machines and power electronics, we work closely with our partners to deliver attractive system solutions for the growing hybrid market.
As a worldwide leading company in the area of transmission control we deliver today more than 2 million transmission control units every year. Our custom made solutions include stand alone control units as well as mechatronic control units with most modern system functions for the drive train. A wide range of control units for different transmission types and drive train components enable more passenger comfort, fuel economy and driving dynamics.
As a member of our team you will focus on:
-development of embedded software in interdisciplinary project teams at international level in the field Automated Transmission and/or Transfer Case
-follow company standards and the software development process in conducting software development
-software development for 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers in ANSI C
-adjustment of requirements with the customer
-development of software concepts and specifications, perform software design and implement software modules
-specification, execution and documentation of software tests
-error analysis
A mentor will support you to stepwise take over own responsibility after an initial training phase which will familiarize you with our products, tools, processes and organization.
-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Control or Computer Engineering. (Computer Science will generally not suffice unless candidate also has extensive experience with hardware design/debug).
-programming language ANSI C
-knowledge in area of embedded software development for real-time systems
-knowledge in area of software development processes and quality assurance
-software development methods
-knowledge of microcontroller TC17xx desirable
-knowledge in area of project planning desirable
-basic knowledge of sensors and electrical actuators desirable
-read and understand an electrical schematic
-knowledgeable in the setup and usage of an oscilloscope and voltmeter
-attention to detail, especially for documentation accuracy
-willingness to support abroad delegation assignments
