As a member of our Java development team, you will have the opportunity to use your skills in software engineering to contribute to future releases of one of Embarcadero’s most exciting growth products.
RESPONSABILITATI / BENEFICII:
You will work on an easy-to-use tool that allows database developers and administrators to identify performance bottlenecks and tune their queries for speed and efficiency.
You will be involved in all aspects of the Agile software development process, including: participation in requirements discussions, design, development, defect fixing, performance tuning.

Skills and Knowledge required:
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Good algorithms and problem solving abilities
• Knowledge of design patterns, object oriented programming, object oriented design
• Project experience in Java SE programming
• Project experience with SWT is a plus
• Project experience with databases such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, Sybase ASE is a plus
• Project experience with test-driven development is a plus
• Experience with features introduced in Java 1.5 or later is a plus
• The will to learn and constantly improve
• Team player
• Passionate about software development
• Good communication skills in English is a must
