RESPONSABILITATI

- Manage the operations of the accounting department, including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.
- Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential
- Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans
- May direct the establishment and maintenance of corporate accounting principles, practices and procedures for the maintenance of fiscal records and preparation of financial reports
- Prepares and publish timely monthly financial statements for stakeholders
- Prepares local, state and federal tax returns
- Maintains records and performs miscellaneous tax assignments
- Coordinates the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Researches technical accounting issues for compliance
- Supports month-end and year-end close process
- Ensures quality controls over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manages and complies with local and domestic statutory reporting requirements and tax filings
- Develops and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Manages outsourced functions, where applicable
- Protects company assets by establishing, monitoring and enforcing internal controls and adequate asset registers
- Maximizes return, and limits risks on cash by optimizing bank balances and investments
- Maintains cost allocation schemes in line with company policies
- Manages the annual statutory audit process
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by management

Scope:
- Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
- Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
- Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).


CERINTE

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Required.
- Experience working in a multinational environment or large companies as a Controller.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with analytics and strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to build strong rapport and relationships with operations and internal clients.
- Payroll systems knowledge a plus
- Audit experience a plus
- Familiar with Accounting systems (Quickbooks, JD Edwards, SAP) is a plus
- Proficient in Advanced Excel
- Proficient English Language skill

Job Complexity:
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends, fiscal/legal changes and their impact on the business.
- Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. - May be involved in the implementation of new Accounting and Payroll systems.

- Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or - Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
- Manages the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
- Coordinates the provision of information to internal and external auditors.
- Complies with local statutory reporting requirements and tax filings.
