The IT development team makes a significant contribution to the expansion of our application environment. In a small and highly motivated team you will be developing new services for our core applications (quotations, policy portfolio, losses/benefits). You are the motor and the motivator for the continued development of the internal standards, tools and method required to this end. You can look forward to demanding and exciting tasks and projects.
Your tasks will include:
• Realization of demanding PL/SQL and Java Solutions with interfaces to various corporate business units.
• Support and supervision of the entire project cycle – from specification of the solution and technical documentation, design and implementation to technical testing in small, interdisciplinary developments teams.
• Development of specifications for software quality including conducting the associated quality testing.
• On-going further development of tools and development guidelines within the IT Department.
• You have an excellent degree in computer science or business systems engineering.
• You possess many years' professional experience in an Oracle environment along with PL/SQL, FORMS, JAVA, XML and Web services.
• You are experienced in the development of database architecture and solutions.
• You possess excellent analytical, conceptual and creative skills.
• You have sound, in-depth knowledge of ER modeling.
• You have well-developed communication skills and are confident in moderation and presentation.
• You are distinguished by an excellent quality of you work, your remarked ability, your well-developed sense of responsibility and the currentness of your technical background.
• You are decisive, a self-starter and possess a high sense of individual responsibility.
• You have a good oral and written command of German.
