In order to build safe systems and lead the tech activities, the company is looking for an experienced system administrator and infrastructure engineer.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain core features of the cloud based infrastructure
• Handle Big Data applications through distributed systems
• Create and manage a centralized configuration system (Chef / Puppet)
• Network monitoring and administration
• Work closely with the development team
• Analyse the system’s security (Stride)
• Degree in IT, engineering or similar
• At least 3+ years of professional experience managing systems and infrastructure of a tech company
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (such as PHP and Java) and SQL / NoSQL databases (such as Postgres and MongoDB)
• Hands on experience with LAN administration / VPN Infrastructure
• Practical experience with Active Directory Management (Windows Server 2012)
• Solid knowledge of Linux, monitoring (Nagios / NewRelic) and configuration (Chef / Puppet).
• Deep understanding of distributed architectures (including load balancing), as well as web server administration and cloud hosting
• Ideally experience with Big Data (map reduce, R Framework, RServe)
• Experience with Data integration (ETL) is a bonus
• Proficient in English
