To face their growing demand an internet company is looking for skilled Ruby on Rails Developers to improve and expand their company structure and processes. The company has 50+ employees and heavily relies on IT to support their various departments such as customer support, business intelligence, sales and so forth.
Responsibilities
• Develop applications and software components in Ruby on Rails
• Analyse, evaluate and improve existing systems
• Create and execute new concepts
• Proven experience in developing with Ruby on Rails – samples required
• Experience in working on multilayered web applications
• Solid knowledge of Git, development environments (ideally TDD) and deployment systems
• Team player, flexible and hands on mentality
• Continuous integration and DRY are both familiar concepts
• Knowledge of Linux / Mac, database technologies and Unit Testing
• Degree or traineeship in Computer Science or similar field
• Juniors are welcome if they can showcase working experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience with other technologies (PHP, Python) is welcome but not mandatory
• Ideally knowledge of Dev Ops
• English proficiency, spoken and written
• Rapid career growth
