Public Euroconsulting, on behalf of our client, a a leading Internet Company in Berlin, is looking for a Kernel-based Virtual Machine Developer, to join their team and help drive innovation for their next generation products.
Job title: Kernel Virtual Machine Developer
Location: Berlin, Germany
Responsibilities:
- Analysis of the system and identification of bottlenecks to increase performance
- Responsibility for patches and fixes
- Support in delivering code to the community (upstream)
Profile:
- Degree in IT or similar or successful apprenticeship
- 2+ years of C programming experience, ideally in embedded engineering or virtualization technology
- Expert knowledge in Linux system tools
- Project experience with hypervisors (ideally KVM)
- Sound knowledge in common tools like Profilers, Debuggers and GCC
- High interest in understanding CPUs, RAM, and their architecture
- Proficient in English
