In order to grow and become one of the leading eShops in Europe, a leading eCommerce start-up company in Hamburg is currently looking for an experienced Front End Developer to strengthen their team.
Responsibilities
• Further develop and improve existing Front End solutions
• Work on the Front Ends’ responsiveness
• Support the Back End to implement features into the Front End
• Work closely with UX Designers to improve usability
• Deep experience with Front End technologies
• Extensive professional experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript / Ajax
• Introductory experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, XP, TDD and you enjoy working in these environments
• Great communication skills and team oriented mindset
• Ideally experience with Freemarker, Closure Templates, Wicket or Play Framework
• Good knowledge with DOM manipulation and Ajax
• Familiar with Front End frameworks such as jQuery and Prototype
• Knowledge of Java, Spring and MongoDB is a bonus but not mandatory
• Passionate about web technologies in general and new trends
• Proficient in English
• Great office in the heart of Hamburg
• Performant hardware and technologies to work with
• Free choice of operating system and software development environment
• Attend conferences training and coaching sessions
• Full time and long term contract
