o Exterior Trim Systems Manage the project regarding the delivery of components or sub systems engineering acc. to the project timing
o Liaison with program team, suppliers manufacturing, styling and purchasing, etc.
o Manage component validation program including order and supply of components and support of rig and vehicle test.Analyse internal test standards and create project delivery plans;
o Responsible for development of individual component(s) and systems, releasing parts
o Chairing of all relevant meetings and teams support of all DFMEA creation issues
o Develop timing plans for components & system o Develop requirements specification on component & system Level
o Support the development of validation plans for components and systems together with test departments. Test dept. is responsible.
o Push other departments to start up and finish their work according to time-plan o Control and integrate suppliers
o Lead his own group of designers to follow the time-plan
o Take responsibility of the design and the interfaces to surroundings
o Take responsibility of doing economical follow-ups according to budget. High light cost risks to Project management
o Report the status of the system to project management regularly o Develop different solutions to achieve component or system targets
o Prepare roadmaps / action plans to support deciding process o Update BOM's
o Responsible to achieve objectives regarding: ¿ Function Investments ¿ Performance Reusability ¿ Affordable cost targets Quality ¿ Weight Timing ¿ Part numbering and naming ¿ prototype coordination, together with the relevant departments·
o Project Management know how, ability to use appropriate quality tools and techniques e.g. FMEA, DFA, etc.
o Specific Engineering knowledge within an automotive engineering system or sub system;
o Relevant technical qualification
o Knowledge / understanding of modern materials and manufacturing processes;
o Familiarity with writing component and system specifications
o PC skills: Excel, Word, Powerpoint and database application
o Very good English;
