Prime Objective:
Buyers with specific tasks related to providing continuous stock availability in all retail outlets for approved core range products.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
¿Ensure timely delivery of products at retail warehouses;
¿Create new Purchase Orders and items in warehouse system;
¿Placement of weekly Purchase Orders to suppliers;
¿Follow-up with suppliers on back orders and supply status;
¿Ensure timely delivery of products at retail warehouses;
¿Choose and maintain up to date product range for categories sport clothing / footwear and beer / wines / spirits;
¿Coordinate and maintain efficient performance of land transport, container and Air Bridge movements. Provide detailed reports to Buyers;
¿Coordinate with the Kabul & Iraq Team with regards to stock movements, delivery discrepancies and stock reordering;
¿Effectively communicate with various suppliers relating to prices, rebates and credit notes;
¿Prepare adhoc reports from MIS where required;
¿Responsible to keep the category database clean;
¿Maintain accurate filing of the purchasing processes;
¿Maintain accurate record of outstanding claims;
¿Monitor and report out on supplier performance;
¿Assist with other categories during leave periods;
¿Planning and carry out of regional events in Afghanistan.
Essential:
¿ Degree in Purchasing, Commerce and Hospitality business
¿ Understand supply routes and how they affect invoicing and financial flows
¿ Minimum Intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills
¿ Excellent planning and organising skills
¿ Good communication skills and team player
¿ Age 25-40 years
¿ Interested in Purchasing career advancement
2.700 USD - total monthly salary including housing and
transport allowance
Annual Leave: 5 weeks
Annual Flight: 1 return flight to home country per 12 months worked
Other: German / Scandinavian language skill required
