The Product Qualification Manager is responsible of the THX (Heat Exchangers Product Line) product qualification, part of the other qualification aspects (Quality & Purchase) led by Central Sourcing.
Reporting directly into the Projects Director of Heat Exchange (belonging to Nuclear Activity), you shall:
- Understand and acquire design contain of Heat Exchange products
- Identify potential sources of manufacturing (partial or complete) likely to provide the product designed by Heat Exchange Engineering
- Participate (if not leading) the qualification actions initiated by Central Sourcing as the product design expertise
- Check the feasibility of manufacture, control and documentation monitoring of the identified sources in order to strictly fulfil all Heat Exchange technical and industrial requirements of its products
- Apply all specifications or Directive involved in product qualification or supply qualification
He/she could also participate as product manufacturing expert to any initiative of supplier monitoring or support that may require his/her expertise and knowledge
- Engineering Degree or equivalent
- 3 + years of product qualification and supplier quality management or sourcing control experience in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of Nuclear or fossil power plant environment
