RESPONSABILITATI

Your key accountabilities:

• Ensures daily/weekly transport planning and execution;

• Daily manages and controls the key transport areas - route planning, back haulage planning, driver planning, ensuring vehicle utilization is maximized and service levels are met;
• Responsible with transport budget – achieves agreed budget, revenue, profit;

• Performs continuous cost control in the transport area (fuel cost, maintenance cost, reduction of km);
• Performs continuous verification of transport efficiency (on-time delivery, delivery reliability, fuel consumption, truck occupation in weight and time) according to client’s standards;

• Ensures all required KPI and reports are reported according to internal standards and definitions;

• Manages the daily schedule and planning of transport operation, ensuring vehicle utilization is maximized and service levels are met;

• Develops and maintains transport policies and procedures; ensures compliance to Standard Transport Procedures;

• Ensures maintenance repair of the truck fleet and other transport equipment according to the standards;
• Responsible for people management - communication, development, team motivation, performance evaluation, levels of absenteeism, turnover, costs;

• Ensures all laws applicable are followed in his area of activity.


CERINTE

• University degree level - technical profile (in transport - will be an advantage);

• 5 - 7 years transport experience, 4-5 year in logistics industry experience (FSL);

• Advanced functional knowledge - transport KPI, daily route planning, truck capacity, working with owned fleet, consumption, maintenance, direct supervision of drivers, specific legislation transport, working schedule drivers;

• Very solid practical experience and proven results in managing an own fleet for minimum3 years;

• Very good ability to plan and organize the department's activity;

• Very good ability to monitor and evaluate the department's activity;

• People management skills - planning, communication, evaluation, development, motivation;

• Very good analytical skills;

• Systems - Microsoft Office, Warehouse Management System, Transport specific systems.
