On behalf of our clients within the wind power industry we are continuously looking for highly skilled consultants with experience from the wind power industry.
Module Responsible with experience from the wind power industry
Key responsibilities:
• Work closely with System Responsibles to realize the module
• Define the requirement specification for the module and identify the various interfaces
• Involve the physical design of components and assemblies taking the parties involved/system needs and other module interface into account
• Collect components from different systems
Interactions & responsibilities:
• Optimised component/module design focusing on robustness and reliability in accordance with quality, price and time of delivery
• Relevant calculations/data to arrive at the design, generate technical ideas/solutions and identify new technologies for the specific module
• Ensure that interference requirements with the neighbouring modules are accounted for
• Work closely with the Mechanical Designer to realise the design
• Continuous communication with parties involved
• Interact with purchasers/suppliers at various phases of module design to obtain their input or constraints towards the module
Deliverables:
• Attend face to face meetings/reviews from time to time
• Deliver design and verification documentation at all stages of the project, bill of material (BOM) and engineering change orders (ECO) to management at various stages (reviews)
• Coordinate test activities related to the module as well as assisting in prototype assembly
• Estimate a realistic cost of the overall module with assigned purchaser (or with the supplier)
Competences:
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years of experience from a similar position within the wind power industry
• Technical project management skills
• Innovative approach towards optimum module design
• Good communication and networking skills across various teams in the organisation/project
• Fluent in English – verbally and written
