- Reports to the Fabricom GTI Department Manager in Belgium
- Internal contacts with the Project Leader and two foremen locally.
- External contact with subcontractors
- Responsible for the successful completion of projects according to safety, timing and costs.
- Safety aspects for mechanical and electrical work are to be considered always and having high priority during the full working period on site. Close cooperation with safety coordinators, safety engineers and FORD staff.
- Supervision and instruction of the personnel including planning of manpower and fulfilling the time schedule.
- Planning and engineering of best practice for the different types of electrical work.
- Keeping track with progress of work.
- Preparation of sketches for basic design.
- Putting work out to tender in Romania for special parts of the FORD contract.
- Development of best buy for electrical materials, tools and equipment at Romanian suppliers.
- Preparation of As-built-drawings of all works of the contract and hand out to FORD engineers.
- Taking of actual measurements and preparing a break down as basic document for the accounting and invoicing.
- Taking into operation of new equipment according to regulations and procedures, necessary electrical measurements and protocols, manuals
- Electrical engineering degree.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Project Management skills and experience.
- Fluency in Romanian and English.
- Knowledge of Romanian laws and standards.
