The Senior Planning Engineer wiil take role into an International Gas Pipeline Project.
His responsabilityes will include:
- Overall strategic planning and development of the Project Master Schedule for the Company Project
- Establish and maintain all schedules in close cooperation with the project disciplines
- Participate in preparation of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure that the WBS is consistent for cost and planning needs regarding progress, measurement possibilities as well as simple overviews of project, subprojects and phases
- Provide project progress status, schedule change control, provide management with schedule consequences including mitigating actions
- Evaluate risk issues with possible schedule effects and be involved in defining mitigating measures
- Follow up and verification of contractors’ activities and performance, time management process and deliveries
- Communicate schedules, status, direction and actions to relevant project members and stake holders
- Technical University (in Europe)
- At least 10 years of relevant experience from oil and gas projects with special emphasis on the planning discipline
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent English language skills (written and spoken), any German, Italian, Greek or Albanian knowledge would be a plus
- Natural authority with assertiveness, excellent people skills and proven ability to cooperate across disciplines and across companies in a multi-cultural environment
- Adapting to changing situations and priorities as changes occur within the project organization
- Excellent planner with attention to details
- Proactive, hands on person with the urge to seeking opportunities to improve current processes, systems and methods to promote reliability, quality and efficiency of output
- Advanced user of Safran, Prima Vera, Microsoft Project of similar tools
