We are looking for experienced candidates and exceptional graduates to join our team as Technical Support Consultants
A good degree and background in Math’s, Computing or a practical experience of IT, data analysis and reporting, and/or business systems will be an advantage. A good communicator with excellent English, a flexible approach and good problem solving skills is what we are looking for.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
The primary function of the role is to provide technical support to our client base – primarily using the SAP Business Objects product suite and associated technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to client requests within defined SLA’s
• Provision of technical product support - primarily covering the full SAP Business Objects product suite (all supported products & platforms as documented by SAP)
• Ensure technical issues are fully documented and where required escalated to senior consultants for review.
• Maintain a close working relationship with clients and act as the single point of contact throughout the lifecycle of issues raised.
• Participate in R&D activities under the guidance of senior consultants.
• Contribute to the Business Intelligence team’s technical knowledge base
Experience & Qualifications Required:
• Degree in Maths, Economics or Computer Science preferred
• Exposure to business systems or data analysis
• Excellent English language skills, written and spoken
• A good understanding of SQL
• A good understanding of Microsoft OS.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Desirable:
• Experience with, or knowledge of business intelligence tools
• Proficient MS Office skills
• Windows Networking – knowledge of key concepts:
Server administration, Active Directory, Security, Communication
Windows 2003 – 2008 R2 servers
• Database experience:
Primarily SQL Server & Oracle (all major versions)
• VBA, JAVA, MHTML,XML
• Experience with or knowledge of Web/Application servers
• Any additional European language is a plus.
