We are currently looking for Qualified Accountants with Slovak (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CPA qualified or partly-qualified Accountants with experience in the field) to join the team of our client based in Romania. Our client is multinational organization with delivery centres are located in India, China, Guatemala, Hungary, Mexico, Morocco, the Philippines, Poland, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, and the United States. Are you?

¿¿¿ Fluent Slovak and English Speaker?
¿¿¿ More than 3 years experienced in general accounting ?
¿¿¿ Experienced on any of the major ERP platforms, preferably Oracle or SAP?
¿¿¿ Able to effectively manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
¿¿¿ Excellent written and oral communication skills and oriented.
¿¿¿ Willingness to travel to customer sites for project implementation.

¿¿¿ Exposure to US GAAP, IFRS or other international GAAP.
¿¿¿ Expertise in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Project, Access and Visio a plus; web-savvy
¿¿¿ Any Project management degree/diploma/certification would be a bonus.

Main Responsibilities:

¿¿¿ You will be required to work as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) in General Accounting, Closing and Reporting with the Company¿¿¿s customers.
¿¿¿ You will be responsible for participating in projects in the General Accounting, Closing and Reporting area, and may require extensive travel to customer sites.
¿¿¿ Typical projects in the General Accounting, Closing and Reporting area can be ERP implementation, implementing other accounting tools and platforms, e.g., account reconciliation tool, workflow, or other six-sigma/ lean projects.
¿¿¿ You should have the ability to adapt to various accounting systems and platforms and should be able to interpret the needs and requirements of the clients.
¿¿¿ You should be a strong motivator and should be willing to take complete responsibility of a project if given the opportunity.
¿¿¿ If you are part of a larger project team, you should be a team player and should be able to freely and decisively communicate with the project management team.
¿¿¿ You should be able to rely extensively on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
¿¿¿ You should be able to perform a variety of tasks.
¿¿¿ You will be required to support controllership in the General Accounting, Closing and reporting area, providing expertise to the ongoing operation and the new transitions.
¿¿¿ You should have the ability to deliver GA related trainings.
