Job purpose: Works in a small group of software developers and is resposnible for analysis, architecture, design, implementation, unit testing and documentation according to the software development process of new or existing applications. Ensure software quality and non-functional requirements like security, performance, availability and scability. Transfers knowledge by technical trainings, technical guidance and doing peer reviews. Is doing preliminary and detailed investigations. Writes technical specifications. Cooperates with IT Operations, Database Development and SCM Team. Support and consults business on technical topics. Supports process improvement.

- Minimum 2 years practical experience in software engineering

- Basic knowledge in area of technical QA (load, stability)
- Basic knowledge in area of IT operations
- Technical knowledge - .NET Framework, MSQL, SQL.
Main Responsibilities:
- Software Design & development:
- Writes technical specifications. Estimate, design and implementation of software to ensure maintainable, homogeneous and stable applications, so that the business requirements are met.
- Supports technical decisions within the team. Does technical risk assessment within the development area.
- Ensure software quality and non-functional requirements like security, performance, availability and scability.
Process:
- Support of the software development team to ensure the implementation of (code) quality guidelines, processes and standards as well as continuous process improvements.
Knowledge:
- Acquiring knowledge of the domain. Train and coach other team members.
Business orientation:
- Does preliminary and detailed investigations. Consulting for business in analyzing of requirements, estimates and in finding decisions to ensure the technical feasibility and cost effective technical solutions.
- Excluded: contracting with business regarding time lines & estimates.
Operational readiness:
- Definition of requirements for technical QA, preparation of roll out and support of operations to support high availability best from software point of view, includes following the related processes (e.g. Incindent Mgmt Process).
