The Senior IT QA Engineer will improve the quality of our software products by designing, developing and executing test cases that conform to defined functional specifications, design documents, and to the external application standards.
? Write manual and automated test scripts
? Execute and document test cases and test tools
? Develops, executes, documents, reviews test plans and test cases
? Designs, develops, and tests programs/scripts to automatically execute test cases, which validate application functionality, behavior and response.
? Black Box and White Box testing
? Conduct performance and stress/scalability testing
? Prepares written reports on test results
? Provides written risk analysis and assessment of code complexity
? Attends meetings of cross-functional teams and provides input and guidance relative to complex QA issues throughout the project development lifecycle
Specific requirements
? University degree and between 2-3 years relevant QA experience in a software development environment.
? Good English speaking and writing skills
? Requires knowledge of QA Tools, including bug tracking systems
? Requires broad knowledge of test methodologies and quality risk analysis skills.
? Requires practical knowledge of automated testing concepts and ability to conduct/execute automated test scripts.
? Requires knowledge of performance and stress/scalability testing concepts
? Basic programming skills (i.e. C#, VB, XML, SQL) and concepts are required.
? Must have demonstrated an ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams in collaborative environments.
? Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities, continuously prioritize and reprioritize deliverables and to respond to unexpected changes is required
