SAFETY SUPERVISOR ¿ FIELD

RESPONSABILITATI

The Safety Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring all work activities in assigned area. This can include day and night works.
He or she will be expected to perform following duties:

- Maintaining daily contact with craft supervisors, engineers, and other personnel to coordinate the implementation of the project ES&H program.
- Conducting site inspection with supervisors and foremen.
- Giving immediate feedback on key issues with daily verbal report and written report within 48 hours.
- Ensuring that all incidents, accidents injuries, are immediately reported to section ES&H Leads and ES&H Manager.
- Ensuring appropriate investigation of all incident /accidents, and participate in investigation with line supervisor, prepare reports and take photographs and statements as required.
- Being responsible to stop all work, which constitutes and unsafe behavior or unsafe conditions and discuss the requirements with line Manager/supervisor.
- Conducting specific environmental, safety and health training in conjunction with Educational and Training Coordinator to ensure workers and visitors to the Project understand Romanian laws, safe work practices and procedures.
- Training and advising personnel on environmental, safety and health regulations, inspections, and activities.
- Attending section safety coordination meetings.
- Attending Toolbox talks meetings, pre start meeting, and subcontract meetings.
- Coordinating and reviewing JSA implementation.
- Coordinating STARRT program.
- Monitoring project and sub-contractors department¿s compliance with fire prevention and protection requirements.
- Ensuring all the necessary information relating to site findings are entered into the department database either personally or through the ES&H team administrator.
