- Identifies, researches and evaluates suppliers that meet the organization’s standards of price, quality, timing and reliability of supply.
- Assesses supplier’s products to ensure that they comply with specifications and meet the organization’s quality standards.
- Analyzes and evaluates supplier bids, tenders, proposals or quotations;
- Negotiates prices and delivery conditions and commits to purchases (within established limits of authority) with terms that are in the organization’s best interest.
- Interprets inventory requests, purchase requisitions, orders and other documents to co-ordinate purchasing activities with the organization’s current and anticipated demand for goods and materials.
- Monitors the quality and timelines of materials and goods supplied;
- Follows-up the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery;
- Communicates status of orders with internal customers.
- University Degree
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Purchasing/ Logistics Department
- Very good negotiating skills
- Good communication skills in Romanian and English
- Analytic, very organized person, paying highly attention to details
- Proficient in English and MS Office (advanced level of knowledge - Excel, Word, Outlook 2007).
- Able of creating statistics and reports
