After a training period, where you will familiarize yourself with our software products and our development environment, you will resume responsibility for leading development work for selected modules of our software. Further, you will be in charge of coordinating the work within your project team and for the professional advancement of your project team members. Being part of our growing R&D department with locations in Munich, Germany and Timisoara, Romania, this position also offers the opportunity to work in an international environment including occasional travel to Germany.
You will work at a multi-platform C-S application, which runs on OS Windows, Unix, Linux, AIX, IBM iSeries (OS/400) using DB like ORACLE, SQL, DB2 etc.
This position offers the opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge of the technologies and development processes used for developing our market leading applications.
1. At least 4 years of professional work experience as a senior software developer.
2. Prior experience as a project leader represents an advantage.
3. At least 3 years of experience with Java / J2EE.
Advantage: background in developing business applications.
4. Because of our international work environment, we require excellent communication skills in English and German language.
5. Educational background in computer science or a related discipline.
