Main Responsibilities:
- developing, implementing and maintaining information systems, processes and concepts,
- testing and installing information management systems (hardware/software)
- diagnosing and resolving demanding technical problems
- acting as a source of technical expertise to others in his/her area
Required competencies:
- Good knowledge of IP routing and L2 switching concepts
- Have administrated Windows and Linux servers
- Solid understanding of various protocols such as DNS, NIS, NFS and VPN
- Good knowledge of SAN and NAS storage concepts and technologies
- Knowledge of x86 hardware and Cisco firewalls
- Have at least one of the following certifications: Cisco (CCNA), RedHat (RHCE) or Microsoft (MCSA or MCSE).
- 3+ years experience of managing enterprise network and server environments
- Strong scripting skills such as perl, php, bash, PowerShell.
- Familiar with network management tool (Nagios, Cacti, PRTG), communication tool (blogs, wikis) and ticket systems (Remedy).
- Customer Service attitude is a must, as this position will work very closely with product development projects.
- Good communication skills in English are critical (written and oral).
