RESPONSABILITATI

The Financial Analyst reports to the Finance Manager . The Financial Analyst is responsible for ensuring completeness and on-time filling of financial documents to the Local Authorities, for keeping well organized financial documents within the department, petty cash operations and other administrative issues.
In fulfilling his/ her job responsibilities the Financial Analyst mainly supports the Finance Manager in completing the everyday requirements of the Finance Department. The Financial Analyst shall ensure in particular the following short-term objectives:

1. Accurate records in the accounting registers (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, petty cash), thorough verification and complete filling of the supporting documents;

2. Thorough verification of the commercial contracts (suppliers, customers) and complete filing;

3. Completeness of the financial documents required by the Local Laws and Regulations, prepared by the external accountants as well as on-time filling with the relevant Authorities;

4. Assists the Finance Manager in basic accounting (Accounts Payable, Cash Book) and verification of payroll computation through substantive analytical procedures (graphs, comparison to previous months, full re-computation for 25 employees randomly selected etc.);

5. Assists the Finance Manager in verification of the accounting records processed by the external accountants;

6. Assists the Finance Manager in preparing documentation during audits

7. Assists the Finance Manager in ensuring full SOX procedures compliance.

8. Assists the Finance Manager and the Operations teams in preparing, analyzing and reporting of monthly forecast, actual and budget data and in elaborating proposed action plans and decision support analyses.

Long term responsibilities include, without being restricted to, the following (these require specialized accounting and payroll software):

1. Proper accounting under RAS (Romanian Accounting Standards);

2. Payroll computation and accounting;

3. Preparation of financial reports required by the Tax Authorities.

4. Preparation of financial analyses and reports for management decision support.

Minimum 2 years experience in accounting/financial area
